Therapeutic counsellor
Sometimes life is really hard, and everything can feel like too much.
Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and exhausting. Loss of a loved one can feel like the world has stopped and will never turn again. Relationships can feel difficult to maintain, and it can feel as if every conversation becomes a battle. Life can feel aimless. We can sometimes feel fundamentally flawed and unlovable.
Most of us experience one of more of these at some point in life. I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to organise and reframe those overwhelming feelings and see the wood for the trees. I can help you understand yourself and your situation and to begin to make changes for the better.
My practice is integrative, which means we can work flexibly using different techniques according to what is useful for you at the time. We will discuss your aims when we first meet and regularly review to ensure we are meeting your needs.
I will see you, hear you and will never judge you. I will work with you to understand how life has led you here, how you can begin to cope better day to day, feel more accepting of the past and look forward to a brighter future.
I work with both individuals and couples, face to face in Hove, East Sussex. I am very happy to work with individuals online via Google Meet or other platforms.
Please feel free to browse this site, which covers elements of how I work for both individuals and couples and my philosophy around counselling.
I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to the BACP ethical framework.
