A safe space, just for you.

Sometimes life is really hard, and everything can feel like too much.

We can get overwhelmed with guilt for not coping, shame for having failed in the past and sometimes we can end up not really liking ourselves very much. We might self medicate with substances or other behaviours which we know don’t really help, but they seem better than nothing. But they just perpetuate the cycle.

I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to organise and reframe those overwhelming feelings and see the wood for the trees. I can help you understand yourself better and to begin to look in the mirror and like what you see.

My practice is integrative, which means we can work flexibly using different techniques according to what is useful for you at the time. We will discuss your aims when we first meet and regularly review to ensure we are meeting your needs.

I will see you, hear you and will never judge you. I will work with you to understand how life has led you here, how you can begin to cope better day to day, feel more accepting of the past and look forward to a brighter future.

I offer one to one counselling, face to face in Hove, East Sussex or online via Google Meet and other platforms. Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Please feel free to browse this site, which covers elements of how I work and my philosophy around counselling.

I am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to the BACP ethical framework.
